The pride of Pride Rock had stood strong for many, many years. There had been generations and generations of great lion royalty born there! But it was not to last.... One year, the rains did not come. The prey left, the river dried up, and everthing in the pride lands died. There were no signs left that the old pride had ever even been there, save for a few claw marks on the floors of pride rock and the tree poor old Rafiki had once inhabited.
But now, a new pride is rising. It started out with only two, a brother and sister named Endesha and Amari, but as more lions come, the pride rises to greatness. An evil pride is prophecied to rise too, however; and the pride that wins the great battle will rule the savannah.
Rules:
1: Keep it PG.
2: Respect me and others.
3: This RP has a special "points" system. Use it, it will be explained more below.
4: 30 pages is a month, 360 pages is a year.
5: Lionesses remain pregnant for two months.
6: Lions live about ten years if they die of old age.
The Battlepoints/Huntpoints system.
I created this system to deal with the "no one really wins" problem in rps. Battlepoints control how effective your charrie is in battle. For example, let's say Simba had six battlepoints and Buttercup had three. If Simba attacked Buttercup, Buttercup would lose the battle with him and be forced to run away from the whole fight or be killed. If Buttercup attacked Simba, Simba may be hurt, but not beaten. Every time you go to a battle, whether you win or not, ou gain a battlepoint. But you have to be there from the battle's beginning to gain a point; you can't just rush in in the middle of a battle.
Huntpoints are gained by hunting,of course. When you have very few huntpoints, you will only be able to catch as many animals a month as you have huntpoints. Every time you kill an animal, you gain a huntpoint. However, the new huntpoint cannot be used until the next month. The huntpoint is gained by the lion that kills the animal, not the ones that injure it or chase it down. The ones that help chase the animal ado not use their huntpoints or gain any. For example:
Tina and Trish are hunting. each has one huntpoint. Tina helps chase it down and trish delivers the killing bite. Only Trish used her huntpoint; she can't use any huntpoints til next month. Tina is free to kill another animal to use her huntpoint, and she didn't gain any huntpoints from that hunt.
