I quite agree with you Dizzy! I try to do that myself...

but the Only difference is that I'm Okay (Not "love and enjoy," but "don't completely mind") with one or two dogs that have a slightly unrealistic color (ie. like a shade of blue that is dark, but just not dark enough to be realistic and does Not look like a bright neon color) among realistic designs and colors. As long as it still looks basic I don't mind one or two dogs here on BS like that... but Not More than 5. Then it becomes overpowering and quite ugly to me... Dx

Let's revise this realism drive with new enthusiasm and get the old clock gears cranking again. ;3

Hmm, i like the points you made here c:
The only trouble i have with realistic designs is sometimes they're a bit bland and they aren't really 'fun' per say to draw. Don't get me wrong, i do love a good, complex, realistic design (they're just rare to see, unfortunately D:).

I support well-done sparkle dogs. Meaning, 'sparkle-dogs' that have fitting colors that move along with the characters. To me, a sparkle-dog is like creativity in fur xD I'm quite fond of them, really.
I used to be completely against them, until i discovered that there are well-done sparkle-dogs. After that, i fell in love with them xD

There is certainly some truth to that. C; I myself don't mind well-designed "sparkle" animals, but I prefer them to stay on sites like Da. (I'm not including fursonas in that though, as my own fursona has an unrealistic color in one of her main forms.)

These sites are fansites. Meant for things related to the movies specified, and I just think that sparkle animals don't relate to the movies in anyway and should be kept elsewhere... (I'm not trying to criticize you or anyone else who has them at all, though. Only to express my own view.)
