I've decided to create this topic dedicated to the Requests for fan arts (also called commissions)
From now on, all the people offering to do requests, must tell it here.

Only people taking requests should post here, not people asking for requests. If you want to ask for a request, you can either :
PM (Private message), email, or use a messenger to contact the artist.

If any of us have current requests that we have to do, can we post those here? (because I know I have some that I posted on my thread, and it wouldn't be fair to restart the whole thing all over again) And besides, it's a good idea, but not everyone who sends their request pics on their galleries get permission for all that we know (that is what you ask for, right?). But meh.

...Have you read what I said? Such a message can very well be private, there's no need to post that here. Send your message directly to the member you want to contact.

Yes you'd say you will take requests, what you will and won't draw and how you'd like the person wanting a picture to contact you.

Ahem, for example.....

I am Ghraeh Lit, I take requests for wolves, but i do not draw anthro characters, I am capable of both a painted style, and a cartoon one, I do requests mainly on weekends, and so I can only accept a few request per time.

I will usually draw single characters with a simple background.

But I may draw more characters depending on the request.

Do NOT repeatedly ask me if i am finished with the request, and do NOT pm me constantly, or after I have finished a request for you (one is enough). Do NOT pm me at all because I am just making an example, and will never take requests for anyone ^^. You can pm me for art trades though.

(My quick question: I told people to PM their info to me in the beginning. Why must I be punished like everyone else when I was trying to follow the rules? Just wondering . . . . but I'll soon get over that anyway.)

So, here's how I'll do it.

If you want me to draw your wolf/husky/whatever character, make sure you mention these requirements:

- What your character looks like (important markings, color, etc. - an example would be nice too!) PM these to me! Do not post them here! Thank you!
- the name of your character (either the character's or your username)
- anything else that is important about your character (you know what I mean, right? So that I can get the attitude and personality of your character!)
- Permission for me to post your request in my fanart gallery on Balto Source (this is optional; you don't have to let me post your character in my gallery, but it's up to you! This only applies if your character is a wolf/husky-type of character.)

I'll set a limit for right now to five requests at a time. Only the first five requests will be accepted for now until those ones are completed; the next five will then be added to the list when the previous five are completed. Most likely they will all be drawn and colored on Microsoft Paint. Please pay attention to the Status at the bottom of my post.

Yes, yes, like this One day or another, I will try to complete the fan art system on the site with more options, but for now I think this is good enough.

I think this thread is a good idea (sorry if I'm off topic). It prevents clutter in the board

ok...so if we are taking requests all we say is "I take requests"

if so:I take requests.

But you shouldn't, do not ask more than one people at the same time. Or I call that cheating and very annoying.

Can I have a banner saying BALTO THE LEGEND and different images of him?
