I was wondering has anyone seen it? And what did you all think of it?

"The Road to El Dorado is a 2000 American animated adventure comedy film by DreamWorks. The soundtrack features songs by Elton John and Tim Rice, the music team from Disney's The Lion King.

The movie begins in 16th century (1519) Seville (in the south of Spain) and tells about two men named Tulio and Miguel. During a dice game using loaded dice, they win a map that purportedly shows the location of El Dorado, the legendary city of gold in the New World. However, their cheating is soon discovered and as a result, they end up as stowaways on Hernán Cortés' fleet to conquer Mexico. They are discovered, but manage to escape in a boat with Cortés' prize war horse and eventually discover the hidden city of El Dorado where they are mistaken for gods."
(^ From Wikipedia)

I personally adore this movie < 33 The animation is great, it has likeable characters and has humour for those who are older too. The story itself is also very different and exciting, never really predictable.

So, has anyone seen it? xD Or is it just me?

I love this movie xD I absolutely love how Tulio and Miguel aren't your typical heros in shining knight form. Most of the events that happen in the movie are caused by them and their own selfish ambitions. I also loved the horse Altivo xD Overall a very good movie, has a quirky sense of humor, and is one I definitely recommend. It's too bad that not a lot of people have heard of it.

That's the exact same as me cx I don't like characters who are all perfect, which is my reason for Flynn Rider, Kovu and Tulio and Miguel being some of my favourite (male) movie characters < 33

OMG I LOVE THIS MOVIE. It deserves a source more than a few of the ones we have now...
Hilarious, amazing characters and story! I couldn't even begin to cover the animation and backgrounds. Simply gorgeous for starters. 8]
I remember laughing 'til I was almost crying and sitting in awe at the scenery of the forest and city as a kid watching it.

Totally agree with that Roi < 3333 It needs a Source people DD:

Aaaaannnd...I have a little fact for you about RtED:

“In the original script, Miguel and Tulio were a legitimate couple, with pet-names and everything. Their relationship was cut out of the final movie, but the pet-names are still in the subtitles of some DVDs.”

"The creators originally planned on making Miguel and Tulio’s relationship more implicated, with Miguel and Tulio calling each other ‘darling’ and other various pet names."

I kinda guessed this from the first time a watched a few months back o3o And I mean seriously, the hints to the two of them being a couple are in the movie.

I adore this movie too <33 I remember that I've seen it for the first time in VHS, it was a gift from my uncle. It had a horse in there and, well, when I've seen Miguel I've said "OMG that's awesome! I must watch it!" and I fell in love with the movie xD honestly, the things that made me love it were Miguel, because he's simply awesome, I really like his character, and the soundtrack. The soundtrack is amazing. I love all the songs in the original language but, I must say, that the italian singers did a pretty good job too. Too bad I don't have the DVD and so, I've never watched the english version to compare the two, but I must say that the italian dubbers of Miguel and Tuilio were awesome. AWESOME. You should hear them xD they've really gave a soul to those characters, all of them actually.

^ You had me curious, Saske xD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGTLvdHmwCM
At first I thought it sounded like a romantic song. Which is probably a good thing.
