Sugarfoot stomped his foot in response and went back to his oats. Why on Earth is he shy around me at this point? Humans... at least mine is trained well.

Krystalia was announced as she entered her father's throne room. She approached the throne and curtsied. "Are there any tasks to be completed, Father?" she asked in a formal tone.

Hobbes frowned as he sat down on the grass, unsure of what to do do know. Funny, he was a knight, but he had nothing to do.

King Arthur rubbed his chin, trying to think of something for his daughter to do. Come to think of it...shouldn't he punish Krystalia for running away? "Er, the stables need cleaning." he suggested.

bic:// "As you wish," Krystalia curtsied before taking her leave. Yes! I get to take off this ridiculous dress!! She hurried back to her room and changed, pulling her hair back and putting her knife in her right boot before leaving. Krystalia hurried to the stables, hoping to avoid all of the nobles who wanted to talk to her about how happy they were that she was home.

Sugarfoot's ears perked up as he heard Krystalia's unmistakable footsteps approaching. Why is she back so soon? I hope we're not leaving again already...

Hobbes's head snapped towards the sound of footsteps approaching the stables. He saw that it was Krystalia and visibly relaxed. He decided not to go to her, but see if she noticed him.

OOC:// Oh my gosh it is unacceptable how long I've been gone. I'm super sorry and I really have no excuse other than I've been really busy. My step-mom had a baby and I've been taking care of my sister and school and work...it's been tough.

Krystalia ran right past Hobbes through the stable to Sugarfoot. She pet him above his nose before exiting the other side to sneak up on Hobbes. Krystalia tip toed over with the skills she had worked on while in the forest. "Hello, Sir Knight," she said loudly when she was close enough to make him jump.

OOC:// It's okay. I understand. That's why I haven't been checking though so sorry it took me so long to reply. And trust me I understand, I have tests and papers constantly right now and I remember what it was like to help with a younger sibling =3

Hobbes jumped and quickly turned around, his face flustered. "Hello, Princess." he recognized and gave a lopsided grin. "If I may ask, what are you doing out here?"

Krystalia giggled. "Father ordered me to clean the stables as punishment. What are you doing out here?" Her smile spread from ear to ear, but she was also paying attention to their surroundings to ensure no one saw them acting so friendly so soon.

Hobbes shrugged. "Just killing time, I guess. I haven't been given any knightly duties to perform yet." he said. "Would you like some help?" Hobbes offered.

Krystalia smiled. "I would never turn down the offer to spend time with you. Just don't let anyone catch you easing my punishment. They might accuse you of trying to gain favor over the other suitors," she teased him. Krystalia started heading for the stables and looked back over her shoulder to smile at Hobbes.

Hobbes barked out a laugh and followed her into the stables.

Sugarfoot neighed at Krystalia when he saw Hobbes follow her in. "Don't worry," Krystalia assured her loyal companion, "he's just helping me clean. We won't get caught. Warn us if you hear anyone coming." She went over the the supply room and grabbed a pitchfork and barrel. "I'll muck if you put out fresh hay after," she offered.

Hobbes nodded. "Alright." he agreed and grabbed an armful of hay.

Krystalia proceeded to muck all of the stalls, and then cleaned her equipment and disposed of the waste. "Thanks for the help," she said to Hobbes smiling. "I think I'm gonna wash Sugarfoot while I'm at it. He deserves a good bath and brushing after everything we went through." Sugarfoot's ears perked up at the mention of a bath and brushing. Oh! I like those! He whinnied his approval to Krystalia, who laughed and smiled at him before turning back to Hobbes.

"You're welcome, m'lady." Hobbes replied and grinned crookedly at her. Then laughed when Sugarfoot perked up at the mention of a bath.

Krystalia giggled at Hobbes's formality. "Oh good sir knight, you're only a knight one day and already so proper," she teased him smiling. "And you better not get me soaked," Krystalia told Sugarfoot playfully.
