I mean, I don't see anything wrong with a character being gay/bisexual/whatever... if only because I'm a pretty open person as well as a fan, but if it's not mentioned, then it's not mentioned! DUH. Deal with it, keep calm and just write a darn fanfiction already!

If you believe that Kodi is gay, then that's fine. If you believe Kodi is straight, then that's fine too. If you believe that a character is gay just because you also believe that voice actor is also gay yet it happens to be untrue, then that's just plain stupid, juvenile and quite n00bish on your part. [...as well as a fair example of "Did Not Do The Research". For this however, can we just call it Fan Yay? There are fans of it, despite regulars in the Balto fandom not being into it.*shrug*]

It's just going to be the same stuff being said over and over, if only because the topic is pointless, incorrect and unproven and the OP [original poster] isn't speaking up to defend themselves. I didn't read it all, but not because I'm scared of too much words. I tried, but this was getting more and more ridculous... I just skipped half of it, but BaltoFan111, did you really get messages from Balto 3 directors? If what you posted they told you is true, then I'd just quote what David W King told you.


Seriously, characters in animated movies, especially "rushed animated movies", as you described, are not given such things as specified sexual orientation(if they are not going to have a mate), at least nothing more than expected and tolerated heterosexuality.
And I agree with Juuchan17. There were no proofs. Why the hell do you even go though ridiculous cracks just to show us non-existing proofs in the movie? Your reseaches are pointless in so many levels...

What research? I saw no product of research, only pointless muttering about something that DOESN'T matter and shouldn't even be allowed in the first place.

We had a moderator on all day, and logged into here a good portion of that time. One wonders why he didn't simply take the obvious course and do what seems make perfect sense to many of us. Not that I am attacking him personally, but REALLY. Moderators ought to be able to act without having to confer with the rest. If an action of theirs needs correction later on, then so be it. But that is no reason for that mod to fear doing his or her job.
