Season of summer has gone by and, Theluji has grown into a beautiful lioness. It was winter she had a beautiful white coat that looked like pure snow, her nose was pink as a soft and gentle rose. Her eyes were as blue as the winter skies, she looked so beautiful now a full grown lioness. Nguvu look at his daughter and said “Be careful Theluji there are many paths to the forest, you can get lost very easily.” Theluji looked at her father and said “Don’t worry father I will be fine, I will remember the way back home.” Theluji when on her Journey not knowing what to fine, but she will be prepared to see what’s out there.

Theluji smelled the fresh mountain air around her, the scent was very pleasant. Theluji thought “I wonder what is beyond the Northern pride lands, maybe I can see for myself.” She went traveling through the lands the she saw many things, but then something caught her very eye. She saw a strange creature in the plains a large Antelope, it has long mighty horns and it looked pretty strong from a distance. She stared at it the creature for a long time hidden, and then suddenly she heard a mighty roar. She saw a powerful lion he was dark as the night, his mane was very dark like looking at the night sky. He look at her very strangely for he had never seen a white lion before, he went up to her to say hello.

She didn’t know if he was friend or foe so she ran back home to be safe, he tried to stop her he didn’t mean to scare her. He got in front of her and tried to come her down, she screamed yelling “who are you? And what do you want with me?” he answered “please listen to me I didn’t mean to scare you, I was actually going to say hello.” She looked at him not convinced and said “Oh really? I had heard that line a lot; don’t try to pull that one on me.”

Nguvu looked from his home in the Northern pride lands, and then he saw a new lion he went down to protect his daughter. He spoke to Theluji and said “my name is Usiku and your name might be?” “My name is Theulji and I don’t trust you.” Nguvu came to his daughter’s aid he looked at the intruder and said “Who are you Stanger? I don’t take kindly to new comers.”

His pride came with Nguvu and protected their land, Theluji’s mother Mlima came to her and said “are you alright, Theluji?” She looked at her mother and said “Yes mother, I am doing fine.” Mlima look at this newcomer not to sweetly and responded “Newcomer this is not a smart thing entering the Northern Pridelands, Why are you here? Answer me now.” Nguvu looked at him fiercely he didn’t trust him one bit, and with the other lions with him the new comer left the land and headed home.

Nguvu looked at his daughter and said “He is gone know Theluji he didn’t harm you did he? Of he did he will deal with me.” “No father, he didn’t I am glad that you came for me.” She didn’t know who that lion was? Maybe that has to be another time…
