I totally disagree. The Lion King 1 1/2 is the best film in the trilogy. Timon Berkowitz is what hold this series together. He's the best animated character Disney ever created. He's delightful to watch, he's got a loving Ma that calls him Timmy, and Uncle Max who is very funny. He sings a lot, and does the hula! His grass skirt, lei and flower make up a beautiful costume for Timon to wear. He's like all innocence! It's hard for me not to smile when I watch him. He's just so small and furry. To quote Ma, "Hey, mister! That's my very special little boy you're talking about!"

In the first movie, they were really needed for comedy relief in an otherwise (besides before Mufasa's death) sad movie.

In the second movie they were over-used a bit - coming in at every moment in the movie. Seriously, did we really need them to be there before the song "One of Us"?

In the third movie *ugh* it was a good movie... if I had never heard of The Lion King...
Good animation and the use of hyenas = YAY
The fact that "they were there the whole time, even at the serious moments" = ugh.

Uh... no.

At least in the first one they let Mufasa die without their cracking a joke to break the tension. There was no peace in the other movies. I mean, come on, doesn't it get annoying?!
"I have thought of nothing else for YEARS!"
"Boy, does she need a hobby."
And then the fart jokes. I won't even go there.

It's great to hear from another Timon fan. I just LOVE Timon! I totally agree that The Lion King 1 1/2 was made for die-hard Timon and Pumbaa fans!

Face it, everyone. Timon Berkowitz is the REAL star of this franchise. Pumbaa Smith is great too. He can be so theatrical and melodramatic at times! They are INCAPABLE of ruining the movies!

'Timon and Pumbaa' ruined the movies'?!?! That sounds EXACTLY like what Terry Gilliam would say! I mean, that's so CRUEL! That would be like saying Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee ruined THE LORD OF THE RINGS!

Timon and pumba completed the movies! and lionking 1/2 is the best one to me!

Hate to be mean to u fans but after seeing those two in the movies I almost did not want to watch them again.

Not all movies are supposed to have too much comic relief. those two overdid it with the comedy to the point where it was no longer funny.

I do agree with that. In fact, i dont even know why disney had to go waist their money to make a movie with Timon and Pumbaa. I think it was quite annoying that they even got their own tv show.

Yes and No for my answer. Yes because they added a little comedy to it, and BECAUSE MY COUSIN WOULD BE LOST WITHOUT THEM!!!! And no because they kept Simba from going back the whole time!!!!!

Yeah, they have their own TV show, I don't see the point in making the third TLK.
I liked them in the first movie, but that's it.

Sarafina is Nala's mother. She's a misc character and wasn't mentioned or shown except in the Bath sence in the first TLK.

I personally think they didn' ruin the movies but they are pretty annoying....lol I just think TLK 1/2 shoould even have happend.
