Welcome to Troll's School of Hard Knox: For newcomers this is just a friendly guide for dealing with your basic badguys on the internet(a.k.a. Animation Source). Most everyone here is at least old enoughto know how to behave, but there are young ones out there who get offended quite easily,and they never come back,SO:

Basic bad guys

Trolls:common, yet so random, these little guys just pop up occasionally to give mods on forums a piece of heck.The best way to deal with these guys is to sit back and let the mods do all the work, he'll get deleted sooner or later.

Flamers:again common these guys can flame good or bad things it doesn't matter how they do it though,still nasty. The site has a foe list for a reason so add him to it,and if you get a PM from him, don't read it usually it's just more flames. If he continues, report him,but if someone is correcting you, he doesn't have to be rude,just straight,tactful,and polite as can be.

Bullies:These guys like to pick out random members and try to do one thing, STOP YOU FROM USING THE SIGHT YOU'RE ONIf you're getting bullied,tell a mod, if this continues, tell your parents, if even further, well just try to ignore them bad apples.


Spam-Bots:Can't help but think-duh just a minor annoyance that never seem to make sense or stay on topic. If they want to advertise, they can go somewhere else.


Predators:WATCH OUT FOR THESE GUYS, MAMA SAYS DON'T TRUST THAT PERSON, DON'T TRUST HIM,PEOPLE AREN'T WHO THEY SAY THEY ARE, THESE GUYS WANT TO TRACK YOU TO THE INTERNET AND DO THINGS WHICH I CANNOT SPEAK OF:ADVICE: DON'T GIVE AWAY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE, THE MOST I'D GIVE ABOUT MY LOCATTION IS THIS,PLAENET EARTH. IF YOU HAVE A FEELING THAT SOMEONE IS STALKING YOU, TELL A MOD SECOND, PARENTS, FIRST

Hackers: bad news, they just want to steal your identity, track you*scroll up* or just get on your nerves by using your account to post bad things,which gets you in trouble,and usually,not them.Internet security is a must have,oh and don't use common everyday passwords like 1234567 or "password" if your password is this it might as well just be Hack-me.

Other:Most of them fall into these categories,but there are some other ones so watch out.

If you come into contact with one of these here are some suggestions on what to do:

Don't take it to heart, most flamers, bullies ,trolls e.t.c. want you to stop visiting sites like this,and if you leave because of them, who wins? I assure you they're not gonna be sad if you post,not visiting site anymore due to flamer: they'll just laugh if they read it,and don't keep PM's to yourself, nasty PM's or emails should be kept or sent to a mod as evidence you're being flamed or bullied,and most importantly:TELL YOUR PARENTS, THEY'RE MUCH WISER THAN YOU AND KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH SITUATIONS SUCH AS THESE

The foe list is also a nice help.

Well, that's just about all I have to say,and if the mods were confused about me before,they must be in dizzyland trying to wrap their heads around me.

Except for when a predator is involved, I have to disagree. It's the internet, your mama won't be able to fight off trolls that easily, and they're everywhere you go. Plus, on sites like this, their's mods here FOR A REASON. Mom won't be able to hold your hand wherever you go.

I also have to disagree about your mentallity of trolls. Not all trolls want you to leave the site, most just flat out want to cause trouble just for fun. I know because I have kids like that at my school.


First off, you have to go to the main site, log in, click "edit profile", and click "delete your account".

Second, if you delete your account, this post goes away. So you basically just typed all this for nothing.

This guide could be very useful. I think everyone should see this.

I don't really agree with some things you say, but this topic does have a point. I'll move it to the "other" section anyways.
