Well...niether to be honest.

If her dad was Mufasa then it'd be kinda weird her being with Simba and Sarafina doesn't seem like she'd be with Scar and Nala is nothing like him nor spent any time near him in the movie.

I'd say it was another lion. Also, Scar was already mean as a cub, in the 6 New Adventures book "a tale of two brothers" he's already mean and wants to get rid of Mufasa.

If you are saying it can't be Mufasa, there are problems with both...not just Mufasa.

Mufasa -
Disney probably wouldn't have a brother and sister marry eachother. Enough said.

I couldn't be either. Scar is Simba's Uncle, and Mufasa is Simba's father. Nala can't marry her brother or cousin. He must be a rogue.

I also agree. If it were Scar or Mufasa. Let me show you:

If Mufasa is Nala's father- Means Simba and Nala were siblings and so they are mates that means incest.

If Scar is Nala's Father- Nala and Simba would be cousins and still means that is incest.

So I think Sarafina mated with another lion maybe a rouge.

if you read Hamlet(which TLK is based on),Polonius is Claudius's (Scar's) advisor.. doesn't make sense for the Hyenas to advise him.. also why do you think Zazu was so happy about the betrothal ? .. also Polonius is Ophelia's (Nala') father (which Ophelia is Hamlet's love interest).. Problem solved!

a more serious note.. Kiara and Kovu were originally cousins (Kovu was Scar's son).. and it's also possible that Sarafina and Sarabi could be related.. ..

not to mention incest between royal Humans or lions is not unheard of so there..

It could be either

It wouldn matter who would been Nalas father, Mufasa or Scar, she would be still related to Simba.

If she would be Mufasas daughter, she would been Simbas sister.
If she would be Scars daughter, she would been Simbas cousin. Because Scar is Mufasas brother.

So neither.

This is a little off topic but where can I see pics or find info on Mheetu? I have yet to see anything on him...it's new info to me...

On topic: Im gonna say neither.
My vote is that Sarafina lost her pride either while she was pregnant with Nala or had her already, but as a little one.
Simba and Nala would have to have been born around the same time to be the same age, right?
Its a big mystery, but Im gonna say neither Mufasa nor Scar is the father.

On a side note, Nala can be seen in the den of lions when Simbo goes to wake Mufasa up.
