Kiger sighed.

"Tis a shame that big stallions like you need a slave. I mean!" cried Kiger.

He looked at the biggest stallion.

And shrugged.

Kiger was like a tornado.

He spun in circles and hit out at the two stallions with one hoof.

Then he pushed them onto their backs and held them until they cried.

"Now, let the mare go free, please" he said, calmly.

Kiger pulled Amir away from the stallions and kicked at one in the face.

"Now back off! And return to where you came from!" cried Kiger.

He snorted at the stalllions.

And then dropped the battered Amir, gently on the ground.

Kiger nodded with a snort.

Then he looked down at Amir.

Kiger looked worried.

"Are you much hurt, damsel?" he asked.

"Clear away, you two!" snorted Kiger.

He turned back to Amir.

"Can you walk?"

He asked her.

Kiger bit his muzzle and nodded.

This mare needed some rest, presently Kiger began collecting moss, leaves and anything that could serve as a blanket or bed for Amir.

As he foraged Kiger thought about asking the mare what her name was, and where she came from, but he left her to sleep.

I'll stay awake and watch out for those stallions, if they dare return here, thought Kiger to himself.

Next morning came.

Kiger was up all night, he never felt so sleepy.

Instantly he got to his feet and turned his head to look at Amir.

He smiled. And woke her up with a whinny.
