I came across some sources that THIS movie and Balto 2 were made/released in 2001, respectively 2003, the opposite of what's being written in the internet.
Could it be, because they showed in on TV first, and THEN releasing the DVD versions?
Im a bit confused.

Where did you read this? There is always bound to be false information on the internet, so stick to official/reliable sources.

Balto was released in 1995 (In the U.S.), and then came out on DVD in 2002. Balto II, which was also released in 2002, was a direct-to-video release. The only thing I see about 2003 is a re-release of Balto in France, and a release of Balto II in Hungary.

No problem at all, but i heard people seeing the movie on cartoon network back in 2001, respectively in 2003 for Balto 3.
That would be logical, still..maybe they wanted to show the movie on TV and then release it on DVD for some reason.

The information you're reading is false. According to the webpage linked bellow, the first premiere of Balto II, on Cartoon Network, was on February 16th, 2002. This was three days before its official release on VHS and DVD. And if Steet's information is correct, it still, depending on the date, would have been in production in 2001. Late production anyway.

As for Balto III, it wasn't released until 2004. I don't know where you're getting your information from, but whoever is making these claims are wrong. I have yet to come across anything that backs up these claims.
