The part that makes me cry is how Charlie at the end visits Ann-Marie and tells her he is going on a little trip but in reality the person who played Ann-Marie died half way through shooting this film so what makes me sad is thinking how Judith died and that we will never see Ann-Marie again

Oh, I agree. After reading an extensive article about the physical and mental abuse she received, just watching the movie makes me pretty upset. 'Soon you'll come Home' especially. Judith actually had a mental breakdown when she started singing, and died a few days later. :c Which explains why she couldn't sing the song. It's all very heartbreaking.

I agree that the ending is the saddest part of the movie. But all the things that had happened to Judith make it even sadder.
