TLK1 Colors or TLK2 Lion Colors?

A. In TLK1 I like simba and nala's colors better 100%  100%  [ 1 ]
B. In TLK2 I like simba and nala's colors better 0%  0%  [ 0 ]

I was watching TLK2 the other day and I was thinking why did the Animators make simba so dark and completely different colors and why is nala so pale and almost completely white?! I'm not a fan of the colors, are you? Let me know. Thank You! :D :|
