And my character Hunter is a vampire wolf sometimes, but a normal wolf at other times. It all really depends how you draw her. And I didn't copy Hecate. In fact, I had already made the whole vampire wolf thing BEFORE I took a look at her gallery, saw all her awesome art, and figured out her character had fangs. So I'm not a copycat just to say.

I voted yes as well. We shouldn't allow Sparkledogs like the ones with rainbows and neon colors because that's a bit unessecary, but c'mon. My friend Rio's fursona got deactivated for simply having eyes that looked more like a cat's than a dogs, when the design was perfectly natural colored and very creative. Nothing was wrong except for the eyes. I'm starting to think the mod's are going out of their minds and frankly there's not a thing we can do about it cause most of them are hard headed as heck.

First off, yes, I was mentioning YOU because YOU are THE FIRST AND ONLY person to have a GOLD character EVUR.

Second off, stating that you haven't copied Hecate when no one said you did, obviously says you did.

Third off, vampire wolves are not that creative in itself. It'd been done over and over. They're more over done than vampires themselves.

Fourth off, just cuz its a vampire "sometimes" still makes it a mythological being that doesn't fit in the Balto universe.

Fifth off, wolves don't have catlike eyes.

Sixth off, the mods were fine.

1) Thanks a lot for mentioning me when there was NO need to mention me. Plus, if you even knew about the history of the character you'd figure out why I call it gold instead of yellow or "blondish"

2) I was stating it because people have asked me before. Like 'oh did you get that from Hecate?' And also, I was reading the first few posts and how she said everyone else who had done it was a copycat, so I stated I wasn't.

3) I never said they were the most creative, and they aren't overdone more than vampires themselves and if you don't believe me look up the zillions of movies and books and junk about vampires and then search up the stuff about wolves being vampires. Barely anything in comparison.

4) It's only a vampire on DA. Otherwise, she's a normal wolf, therefore fitting into the Balto universe.

5) Actually I never said HAD catlike eyes. I said they LOOKED like catlike eyes.

6) Not all the mods have their heads screwed on completely straight. And if you believe otherwise, steet's words should be proof enough from the recent fan news about the whole controversy.

Up until that news post we'd been trying to keep AS, specifically Balto Source, from becoming pointless as a Balto site and more of a "any wolf or dog" site.

If I owned this site, I can tell you now, I'd shut the whole thing down for a day - revamp the entire set of rules for the entire site - tell all mods that they stick to them or leave - and be done with it all.

Really, it's ridiculous.

Mods doing what they think is right when it's not.
Confusing rules.
Members that baawwwww no matter what any of us do.
A webmaster who doesn't tell his mods or admins exactly what he wants us to do and just tells us off for not mind-reading.

This sparkledog mess being the biggest and best example of that in the history of AS.
