When You private roleplay, there is only to be 2 people, but someone ends up coming in and posting a comment on the Roleplay for you and your friend. There should be a option to disable people, like there is a option for only Friends on your friends list on the forum would be the only ones able to post, and it only counts for YOU. If you still don't get it I'll try to explain it more.

How do you mean, exactly?

I have been in quite a few Private Roleplays and rarely do I ever have any third person randomly posting in it, unless that third person is actually apart of the RP.

Some rp's i've been in, most likely spambots, just randomly post in it. Actually, CWH14T did it once.

I'm not really sure if that would be possible. But I honestly think that the roleplays need to be separated from the rest of the forums. In that case it would work, I think, I'm not very savvy with this kind of thing. If the roleplays were in all on board, and that board be set to private by default so no one can see it. Like the way the staff section works. In order to access it, Steet would have to make a special usergroup that you would have to change manually to see it. It may not keep everyone out, but it should stop spambots.

I have never had an issue with random posters throwing stuff in a Private Roleplay myself. Granted, I have only worked on ONE roleplay, but when I read over other private rps, I have not witnessed any random posts aside from moderators intervening.

I don't fully understand how that forum quarantine idea would work, but I am opposed to limited access from non administrative sections of the forums. Finding roleplay partners is difficult enough without needing to worry about ACLs to worry about. I might be really misunderstanding in how that process works, so take my worries with a grain of salt.

But generally, the posters are unusually respectful of adhering to private roleplays good will restrictions. Random posts in open rps seem like a risk that comes with the territory of an open tagline.
