I got some of my top 10 favorites. And your going to choose (vote) for which one you think is best. Maybe CWH14T's Kiona or ZukoTheCat's Sadie. Your vote counts. And, these members i believe will be happy to see one of their character's up here on this poll.

Sorry, Moss. As much as I like Sadie (Zuko having done an excellent job on her, btw), I'm gonna have to go with Kiona. She's headstrong, and kinda reminds me of me when I put my mind to something, heh, heh

As for me? I don't really know who any of these guys are, just Sadie, Antara, and Moose, so my choice would be a bit biased xD So I can't really vote.

Kiona was immediately out of the option for me because she's just one of those characters who've been so...I dunno, overused, I suppose, here on BaltoSource that it's gotten to the point of annoying. (No offense, Cat; she really is a well-developed and designed character, just...not my favorite, y'know? ;) )

Anyways. I went and checked the profiles for all the other characters listed (with the exception of Reid and Fronk, who I couldn't find), and I've gotta admit, almost all of them got very quickly turned down due to underdevelopment--some severely, others only moderate.


At this point, it was left between Antara and Moose. It was very close, but in the end, my vote went to Moose. Were I actually to meet Moose, I don't think I'd like her, but Wicked gave good explanations to her traits in an interesting-enough history. Personality was flawed without being a "problem-character", which is something that most (not all) people around here reeeeeeally have trouble with. And I like her design. It's nicely simple and the colors fit well together. Nice work, Wicked_Innocence!

My choice? None, to be honest. Actually, I only know one character here, so I guess that'll be where my vote goes.

I would say Kiona, if only because she's the only character I've actually liked on here when I first read her story. She's like the more rebellious husky-girl that we all wish could be in a Balto movie, you know if they made another one. I even wrote a fanfiction focused on her that surprisingly was fun to create and in character with her. Cat, you did a great job with developing her, and reading her continued adventure in a wolf pack and all was quite enjoyable until the end. You should be proud~! :applause:

Of course, then EVERYONE started to make their characters like her, and it got boring. There will never be another that good... not even any of mine or anyone else's. Sorry, all you others on the list, but Cat's Kiona got you beat by a freaking landslide.

If I choose to check out the others on the list [Suggestion: why not link us to each of the choices? It'd be easier to compare that way, you know.], I may change my mind - which is why I'm not voting on the poll yet. Hope that's okay.

I Would have to go with Natti and say Moose. Just something about her that I find really cool, & admirable somehow. I also love her design.
But it was hard to say no to Kiona & Sadie. Even though Kiona's design is common(ish, because Cat edited abit the markings to be more bowl shaped) I like her description. & Sadie, well she is beautiful & also I like her spunky additude! Although she may be an annoying friend to have!

It's a cool topic idea and all...and you have some good choices listed there (some of which I like too).


However, I'm bothered by the idea of limiting people to a list of ten possible choices...which are from your own personal preferences. There are thousands of fan-made characters on this site...many of which are very, very good (and many more of which are complete junk or only "meh").


It would have been better and fairer, perhaps, had you given people the option of stating their favorites, and then asking them to provide a URL link (using the URL option when posting) or even an image from the character's page (again, using the Img option) so that we could all see.


That leaves me not making a choice from among the very narrow list above. Once again, while I like several of those characters, and really like at least a couple (if not more) of the fan artists above for their great work, none of the ones listed above fall into the realm of my "favorite" (or, more accurately, "most favorite").
