There's an obvious character change in the great prince and a few other characters in Bambi 1 & 2. But let's focus on The Great Prince for now lol
So i want to know, which version of the Great Prince did you like more and why?

First one, he was just so mysterious. xD

I really liked the depth they added to his character in the second movie. Granted, he was more "mysterious" in the first movie, but that was all he was. In the second movie you actually got to know the character more.

I don't know; The Great Prince in the original movie was more of an iconic figure that foreshadows what Bambi was destined to be in the end. In the midquel, he is shown more as the stern father figure that is not as flawless and more emotional/down to Earth as portrayed in the first movie. I'll go with the Great Prince in the midquel simply because a caring father is worth so much more than any icon or hero in the world.

The first one because he was more true to the original story.

I always adored the Great Prince of the first film. The second however... well, Patrick Stewart.
I really shouldn't have to say more than that, but I did like that they gave him more depth so you know he wasn't some mythical being that was flawless.

I voted the first movie version [ and tied them all up 8P ].

Both. I just can't choose <3 The Great Prince is my fave character from both movies, so I just can't choose. In both movies he's animated and portrayed perfectly.

Completely agree, he is one of my fav characters of all time for reasons from both of the films...

Both, no matter how drastic the change was.

First movie = Mysterious and special to the film; not to mention he saved Bambi when he gave up near the end.
Second movie = Personal character with an emotional part to it. I love those kinds of characters, big time. We get in-depth with someone who lost the love of his life due to Man and has to learn how to bring up his son, who is also deeply affected by his own mother's death. He also gets to know Bambi after not being there during an important part of his life, which I know is probably due to what happens naturally in the wild but is still a special piece to the characters.

The original Prince.

Now this is a tough one for me, as he's my favourite character in both films.

In the first one.. he had SO much of an impact without even needing to be on screen because of how highly the animals spoke of him (from what I remember.) And when he came ON screen.. he was majestic, powerful.. and had an even bigger impact. He was mysterious.. and I liked him that way, a lot. He was such a strong and bold character, whether he was on screen or not.

In the second one, we got a much more indepth look at him and his personality.. we got to know him as a main character rather than a powerful minor character. He still had an impact here.. but in a different way to the first movie. He seemed more.. human in this one, if you like. He had strong feelings and emotions towards Bambi and his mother, and his relationship with Bambi throughout the movie was really powerful and beautiful. Plus he was voiced by PATRICK STEWART which is just epic beyond everything. My god. I loved his voice. 8DDD

so... my answer is both. :3

Anything associated with Patrick Stewart is a winner in my book. XD

Imma have to say both. I got a bit annoyed with him in Bambi 2 but he grew on me (:
It's hard to compare with the first one, considering he hardly ever spoke (in the fire and after Bambi Momma died). I love his voice in bambi2. he's so "I AM HERE! MWAHA! I OWN YOU!"
