Zira has an air of beauty about her.

I like the fact that, inlike scar, she has a heart and the ability to love (Nuka's death)

I like her because I feel that if she hadn't let her hatred control her, she would have turned out good in the end. The movie gives you good scenes of her at her weakest, showing affection to Kovu, and grieving heartbreakingly when Nuka dies, so you know she is normal.

I don't like Zira, but i like how they thought out her character well. She's evil, but for a reason. And like someone said, she has the ability to love, being a mother and all. I like how they made her and Vitani similar, unlike Kovu...

Really, Zira's not all that evil, she just fell in love with the wrong person, I mean lion.

I like Zira's character. She's strong, powerful, and determined to get the job done. You're right. She does have a vulnerabilty about her. It enables her to let her emotions overcome her from time to time. I kind of think she's similar to Harry Osborne from the Spider-Man trilogy.

Zira thought as much of Scar as Simba did Mufasa. In comparison, Harry looked up to his father, Norman the way Peter looked up to Uncle Ben.

It's clear that Simba was just as bitter at Zira as she was at Simba. I personally think it would have made a nice ending if Zira had rejoined the pride.

Zira is my favorite as well, she is cold and evil, and i like villians more than hero's, and Zira is my second favorite,

Most people like her becauseuse she is evil I like her because she is complex.

I've always loved Disney villains. Zira is one of those villains who'll always hold a place in my heart. There's many reasons I adore her, though.

Her personality: That amazing personality of hers was outrageously fitting for her. I feel like Disney was trying to make her completely cold, but that scene where Nuka passed away really shows that she had compassion and caring in her soul. She holds grudges, and I can relate to that. Despite feeling hatred most of the time during the movie, you could tell Zira cared about others; and that she wasn't entirely focusing on her own well being. I believe if she hadn't let the past get the best of her, she would've survived in the end. She's also one of those villains I can connect with. I know what it's like to loose somebody and hold a grudge afterwards, so I was really able to feel and understand Zira.

Her design: Her design wasn't as "Plain Jane" as the other lionesses. I believe the artists actually put time into designing Zira. Then again, I've always loved Disney's character designs. Zira had such small details in her design that I have always been so intrigued by. From the chunk out of her ear to the scruffy chin, Zira's design is way more original then some of the other character designs.


Her voice actress: Her voice actress was an amazing person, Suzanne Pleshette. (She's passed away). I loved her in 'The Ugly Dachshund, and her voicing in 'Spirited Away was incredible. (She played 'Yubaba and Zeniba in 'Spirited Away, the twin old ladies). Suzanne happened to find a voice that fit Zira perfectly; and I honestly can't picture her with any other voice.
