Aleu still gets my vote though, no matter how naive and stupid she was as a yearling. At least she grew to be wise beyond her years by WQ's climax.

Very good point. Aleu is young in WQ, while Kodi is 3 years old when the events told in WoC take place. I have nothing to add to what you said.

The time of it was longer, Aleu's movie was in spring, but WOC's time setting could have been years later.

Well, first of all in WoC there was still snow, while in WQ it had just melted, this means that Balto 3 took place at least 10 months after the second movie. Also, at the beginning of Wolf Quest the feeling is that only a few months passed between the birth of Aleu and when she leaves (in 1925); otherwise she would have understood way sooner that she's half wolf, for example, or we would know something more of her life.

Aleu was a brat and very annoying with the whole 'I-don't-know-who-I-am-who-am-I?' ordeal. I don't care how old she is, I, for one, could not tolerate her a bit.

Kodi was just as flat as billboard. 'nough said.

I choose Aleu, but Kodi would be my other first choice.
Both of them are cool character, Aleu looks like Balto (looks like adventurer) and Kodi are famous leader of the team in the town.

I've never seen WOC, so for now, my vote is... Aleu. I saw the movie last night (I rented it) and I instantly fell in love with Aleu!

I like both but I prefer Kodi over Aleu because she whined alot and acted like a crybaby just because she is different.Plus, I hated how she disrespected her father and never really cared for him.
