Great job Canis, you have a very good point. The "attitude" of aleu is something that is quite common,I've seen all before in teens and it won't be the last time. As for the eyes, they happen somtimes in wolves, but I found out that at birth wolf pups' eyes start out as blue, but most likely will change to orange or yellow gold by age 8 to 16 weeks. Her curved neck actually went unnoticed by me embarassed.gif, but doesn't really bother by much.
For Niju,I also never never saw him as a villan like Steele, just an individual trying to get though the whole mess with more "aggressive methods".For his whiskers,All wolves have whiskers with probably being more noticeable as the following picture shows in the link.

It is a really good post, giving a lot of details and showing a good movie in a positive light. As I said, this needs to be stickied, as many new members that haven't seen Wolf Quest might benefet from it, how do we get an artical stickied?

Hmm. Well, I agree with you about these things, however with "#2 - 'Aleu doesn't even look like a wolf.'" Actually, I haven't seen many members complain about this like you explained it, but rather how they keep saying in the movie "Aleu looks more like a wolf than her father!" which she doesn't, which actually makes more sense, because she is less wolf than him.

Amazing job on this topic. It is very true that this whole "bandwagon" (for lack of a better term) mentality has gotten WAY out of hand - just because a few people choose to bash Wolf Quest, doesn't mean we all need to. Very nice, sensible, reasonable topic. I like this. :thumright:

Yeah, I'm convinced that more than half the people on this site don't like Wolf Quest because CatWhoHas14Tails doesn't...

I take the credit for being an opinion leader, however, I will not take the blame for giving people stupid reasons such as these to hate the entire movie xD I've given tons of good reasons as to why *I* don't like it, but the majority of these are not why (the Aleu thing is only half-right, but it will have to go into deeper detail, which I'll spare everyone of unless they really question me) Whoever hates the entire movie for these reasons are just idiots and I could care less if those types of people look up to me; I'll only wonder why.

If he wasn't that popular, then how did he manage to convince the entire pack (or half of it? I couldn't tell, it wasn't even that clear in the movie) to follow him? Its either because he had some sort of status in the pack, or that the pack is the most easily persuaded group of people since the students in the Captain Planet episode about AIDS.

This is a very impressive run-down and it prompted me to watch Balto 2 and 3 again for a quick comparison. while I think "Wolf Quest" has weaker than animation than "Wings of Change". You make some good points in that the movie is not, as many view it, a failure. Interestingly enough I tend to like "Wolf Quest" more if I watch the movies in sequential 123 order, but if I reverse it than I side more with those who see it's flaws.

Aloha- Please, this isn't a topic for picking out bloopers. Read the first post and other posts more carefully, then respond.
