Would Balto Have Gone For Another Girl?

Alright, Balto and Jenna. What do they have in common? Nothing much... Balto just has some distinct charm that seems to work on Jenna throughout the first film. But if the conditions weren't right, do you think Balto would have gone for some other girl. Balto seems to have his eyes locked on Jenna at the beginning of the first film, when Rosie gets her very own sled. But days after the race when Balto's starring off at the town to see Jenna, Boris tells Balto to break the ice but Balto reluctantly says, "Naw, She's not my type." Is Balto lying or could this be true? If the winds weren't Blowing the way they were for Balto and Jenna, would Balto have gone for another girl, stayed single, or was it inevitable for Balto and Jenna to meet? You Tell me!

Well, Balto most likely said 'She's not my type' to convey the fact that he was half wolf and no one accepted him. This probably led to the fact that he didn't really have a 'type' or that wolves were the only canines who could ever accept him. So, I don't know if he would have ever went for another girl or not.

I think because of the movie's design, they were destined to meet sometime. But if Balto had kept himself hidden and never said anything or never even showed his face in the town, then perhaps over a long perioud of time he may have found someone else. But not for a while. And if you think about it, if it weren't for Jenna he would ultimately never have embraced his wolf side. Because through Jenna he learned about Rosie. And through Rosie he went on his journey. And during his journey the white wolf showed him his heritage was something to be proud of.

So without Jenna in the picture, I don't think he would have found anyone at all to ever truly be with. He would have stayed single. Because he believed dogs didn't accept him for his wolf side, and because of this he didn't accept wolves much to begin with. Or at least didn't associate with them in order to keep from further alienation.
