What's your opinion on this episode?

Strangely, this is one of the episodes I remember the best. It's pretty different from what you expect from TaleSpin : no air pirates or villain, no real "depth" but only gags throughout the whole episode, and very exagerated ones (TaleSpin tends to have realistic ones, usually) In fact, it's almost a parody of TaleSpin...

And this makes it one of my favorites. In this one, we see Baloo complaining to a lazy mailman who doesn't even know what to do with his letter : "you deliver it!!!" (inverted roles? eh eh) Pretty funny to see that, FOR ONCE, he's ready to do whatever it takes to make his delivery as fast as possible!

We see Becky getting suddenly rid of her "Baloo needs to do his job correctly so that I can run this business and make money" attitude. And because of that, she starts to like him! (and even kiss him)

Although there's one thing that irks me. I've always thought that Becky's need for money was due to her saving money for her daughter's future (studies and all). And here, she just spends everything away on jewelry and useless gadgets...To me that doesn't fit the character, but I guess this was the only way to make this episode work.
But I admit she was attracted to jewels in other episodes, so maybe Becky has a problem with money and she is torn between spending it and saving it. (just like she it torn between running her business and loving Baloo and Kit)

There's also the bad animation. But even with these flaws, it's one of the episodes I've watched numerous times because it makes me smile everytime. Especially the ending (seriously, the first time I watched the episode, I couldn't even believe that he actually DIDN'T make it! and to see his and Becky's reaction is...priceless )

Agreed,Rebecca/Becky,should be spending her earned money on Molly's future,instead of just wasting it all away on things like jewelry for herself.

I watched it. Its not that bad. I'm not a big fan but i liked it.

Not my favorite, but I agree, it was very funny! And as far as I know, it's the only episode in which Rebecca kisses Baloo.

Yup, she should. Bad, bad writer! I remember reading that Talespin had a lot of writers, so that may explain some of the differences between episodes.
