Tell me your favorite fur-type and why. I'm trying to decide on a character. Once I pick one, the topic can be deleted x3

Red sable. It's an aestheticly pleasing color scheme along with a unique scheme of shepherd other than the standard and the "Bolt white."

White. Becauseits usually over looked as a color and its a rare one.

Hard decision. It, to me, depends on what sort of character you're making.

My three favourites are the standard black and tan, the liver and tan and the black and silver.

For a more playful, easy-going character I would suggest the liver and tan.

For the adventurous/heroic character I would say the black and tan.

And for a more 'tough' character I say the silver and black.

But my personal favourite for a standard GSD is the silver and black.

Also, I do like the liver colour, but to me it just doesn't look like a GSD. Same goes for cream. And white and black are just too common and over-rated.

I would go with liver and tan because it gives the character a warm and intelligant air. (And if you do not make a character from those colors I probably will XDD)

Red sable, definately. I've haven't seen too many of them walking around before like the common black and another color sheperd or even the solid black or white sheperd, not to mention it'll be a rare red non-husky lol

Liver and Tan is my favorite. As said before, they compliment eachother very well and it's a good match. It gives the dog a delicate, playful air.

I like black-&-tan, just because it's sort of the common color of a Shepherd- it makes me think of Rin Tin Tin or that dog from that Jim Belushi cop movie. I mean, those solid white ones are pretty, too, but y'know- London's mate, Cillie, is a black-&-tan type of Shepherd because I already have a solid white-colored dog in my comic: Yuki, the big Samoyed on Tyrra's sled team.

There somthing differnt not everyone has tried.

But you know that black and tan, red and full black shepherds are more fearless than white and the other ones?
