Why and how does Zira qualify as being evil when she didn't murder anyone but planned on murdering Simba?Do you think Zira would have become good if she hadn't fallen off of the cliff when Kiara was trying to save her?I think she would. Sorry if there is a thread like this but I just want ot point this out^

I consider her to be vengful and not evil. I can't really blame her for feeling the way she does but she used some pretty underhanded tactics which wasn't very honorable. Scar on the other hand I don't think was evil, but instead was just jealous.

Zira had her own personal plan for revenge over the livelihood of her own children. That's pretty vicious, if not evil.

That one scene where Zira says"If you will not fight, then you will die as well!"To her daughter and outlanders but after they left her, she charged at Simba so I would think she probably could have murdered him if he wasn't being protected by Kiara.

But that might not have made her "evil". She was very single-minded and would not think of anyone or anything other than her plan. She was blinded by rage and hate...so...she's just like a Lion King version of Sasuke.

Dutch--good point but I still think she would have changed her ways if she wasn't so stubborn and turned good at the end but she had to much greed to do that.

I think Zira was not so evil...

But again, as someone already said, she was eviler than Scar, I think. Scar was just jealous, but again, Zira wanted to revenge, because of Scar. So I could say no.

She's considered evil in a way due to her having the role as the villian in the film. Although villians don't always have to be evil, they always aquire SOME ambition and unkindness in the film to get the message across that they're not your good guy. I guess you can say she's half and half. She was mostly recognized in the film for her greed for power, and many people in real life can tend to do that as well. It's doesn't necessarily make them villians of any sort. I suppose it's everyone's different opinion on the subject though.
I would most likely say that she IS evil, due to her being the villian through and through. I'm going on behalf of her role in the film though.

I don't think she was evil. Like Simba had told Kiara, Scar had a darkness inside him that he couldn't escape. I feel that Zira was the same. She loved her children, which shows some good inside her. But she could not overcome her self-destructive flaws, and they destroyed her. She was too weak to fight them. I actually pity her

I think that she's evil, she could just give up her loyalty to scar, who was also evil and live a happy life with simba. I tought about her wanting a better life to her sons, but if she really wanted that she wouldn't keep loyal to scar and would stay at the pridelands ^-^

Yeah Zira does want revenge but fails to kill Simba cause I think she does have some good in her if she just let it out.I just htink she acts tough and not sticking to it^

She trained her son to be a murderer, and threatned to kill her daughter if she refused to follow Ziras plans.. That qualifies as twisted, insane and cruel in my book, if not evil.

She threatened Vitani?Where and when did that happen or did they cut it out on TLK 2?Yeah but even if she DID abuse her children I thihk she loved them deep down heh^
