Zira question

Has anybody ever given the thought of what could have happened to Zira at the end of Lion King 2? What if she didn't drown?

well there are several theories about that... she could have washed up down stream, halfway dead, rebuilded her strength and then gone after the pride once more

I would imagine that she would want revenge on her former pride for leaving her.

You just can survive to something like that, it's imposible ! Zira is dead in my opignion.

I really don't think there was a chance of survival. The fall was long, there was lots of stuff in the fast water, she had to hit her head on something, perhaps several times even--and unconscious person can not hold their breath underwater.

Yeah plus the logs that got pushed down the river are heavier than her and could crush her insides and bones.But if she did survive it would be slim if she lived

We see her paw get run over by logs in the torrent, and the original had her be crushed by them. I'm pretty sure she's dead.

That said, Zira is one of my favorite villains.

Ah the possibility of 'what if'. Hmm... I doubt she would have changed as well.
Most likely the reason why it ended the way it did leading all to the conclusion she had been killed.
She'd have likely tried again and failed miserably since she lost her pride.

^ Not necessarily considering in the end when her pride chose Simba's side, she chose the desperate last option of attacking him flat out with no backup.

Don't forget, Zira was a pretty cunning foe. She spent years planning to use Kovu to kill Simba. If she survived her fall, she'd probably try again, but in a much more stealthy fashion due to lacking backup. Like waiting for Simba to be all alone and attacking him from behind.

Yeah, and I have a feeling Disney won't be making a 4th movie. It just seems like they finished and are working on newer stuff.
