Personality:Wise, quiet and gluttonous. He loves eating salmon and, above all, his family.

Story: Born nearby a lake full of fishes, Garn learned how to fish by his beloved father. When he was 20, he left his parents to discover the world, but, unluckily, he forced to face some human hunters that wanted to kill him for fur and flesh. He managed to put himself to safe and this experience taught him to be more cautios and wiser. He spent the following 20 years to improve his hunting and fishing abilities and become stronger if he should meet humans again. But two meetings changed his life and points of view. Wandering into a forest, Garn met a man cub: he was wounded to a leg and cried for the pain. Seeing that poor little creature, Garn felt his heart becoming very soft and compassion's tears came down from his eyes. So he came closer to the little human. The child begged to the huge Grizzly to not harm him, but Garn hadn't evil intentions: au contraire, he wanted to help him. He licked the wound, making the little human smile. The child hug Garn's big head and thanked him. Garn heard his heart beating very fast: he had ever felt so in his whole life. The child came closer to his huge tummy, warm and soft (Garn was very fat due to all the salmons he ate), and fell asleep. Garn watched over the man cub until next morning, when he saw two humans looking for someone. Thinking that probably they were searching the child, Garn woke up the little one. When the child saw the two humans, he recognized his parents in them. After greeting Garn, he ran to them. They was so happy to see it: it seemed the child was doing a little excursion in the forest with them, but he lost sight of his parents and fell from a rocky prominence, injuring a leg. When the parents saw Garn, he was going to leave, but hearing those humans calling for him, he stopped. Those humans were different by the others he met until then. Child's parents thanked Garn for having helped their son and wanted to reward him with many fishes. Garn, feeling a bit too much excited, just gave them a bear hug and ran away into the forest. Not long time later, he met a 30-years she-bear, named Nyala. She was searching someone that accompanied her to the Salmon Run, a place incredibly rich of salmons and where bears lived in peace. Initially a bit shy, because he had lived many years in loneliness, Garn had to change his mind when he discovered that Nyala was a wonderful girl: his incredibly solar character made him happy even when he was really down! The friendship soon turned into love and, the night before to arrive at the Salmon Run, Garn asked to Nyala to become his mate. Nyala accepted imediately! They celebrate their wedding at the Salmon Run and they soon became friends with the other bears.
