Story: Nyala, daughter of a lonely she-bear, had a heavenly childhood until she saw her mother killed by an another she-bear, jealous of her because she mated with her biggest son and considered that like an affront against herself. Forced to go to make her safe, Nyala finished to spend the rest of her childhood in the forest. Luckily, she met many animals that became her friends. They relieved her loneliness and taught her how to hunt and climb onto trees. Become an adult she-bear, Nyala decided to find a mate and, above all, a peaceful place where stay for the rest for her life. She heard from her friends that there was a wonderful place called The Salmon Run where a bear can live happy forever and eat all the salmons he wants! Nyala thanked them and began to start up to The Salmon Run! On the way, she met a huge male called Garn. Initially a bit shy, he became soon a dearest friend of Nyala, because they have many things in common, first of all a long life spent in loneliness. Some days later, they finally arrived at The Salmon Run and their dreams became true: they found many friends, became husband and wife and had a beatiful son, Marillon. In that marvelous place, she knew two she-bears that got a nice impression on her: Nita and Honnah. Nita was a young she-bear, recently married with her best friend Kenai; Nyala appreciated her curiosity and her pleasantness and she happy to answer to all the answer Nita made her. Honnah was Tug's wife, the leader of The Salmon Run. She was older than Nita, but her kindness hadn't equal. Thanks to them, Nyala managed to say Goodbye to her worst memories and have a bright future in front of her.

Relation to Brother Bear ? She's Honnah's best friend and sees Nita as a little sister.
