Personality: Motega is a strong and brave soul, he has a lot of willpower to his name. He is also a soft hearted and kind and caring friend who feels he has a duty to his friends. He is incredibly loyal and understsanding but he does have a jealousy side. He is known to be extreamly jealous when he has to be but does know how to keep it to himself most of the time that is. He can also be rather joyful and playful when he wants to be.

History: Motega's life started out pretty simple a young bear growing up in the safty of his own home near the mountain where the lights touch the earth. His life was pretty simple until he went to his first salmon run as a cub where he met his childhood friend Dakota. He and Dakota hit it off pretty well and in his eyes she was a very pretty cub so he made fast friends with her right away. Though he wasn't the only cub who wanted to play with Dakota sadly there were plenty of other cubs who wanted her and her sister's attention. Motega wanted her attention as well so during the salmon run he went into the water and caught the biggest fish he could manage and gave it to Dakota as a symbol of friendship which she happily accepted. As they grew up Motega's feelings grew as well for the white bear and he was unsure if she had felt the same for him but sadly during the night he was going to tell her, she and Yoki were gone.

It broke young Motega's heart that she did not say goodbye to him or even as to where she was going she was simply gone just like that and Motega was scared that he would never see her again. Sometime had went by and Motega was a capable adult in the salmon run once again but it just didn't feel the same everytime the salmon run happened all young Motega could think of was Dakota. It seemed the spirits had fallen to his prayers because during that Salmon run Motega was reunited with his old friend once again and he couldn't have been happier. He thought of it as a sign to tell her his feelings but grew nervous once again he wanted to see if she felt the same and as a gift he caught her another salmon like old times which brought back more feelings for Motega. All the other male bears seemed rather jealous of Motega getting attention from Dakota and many wanted her for themselves but Motega had beaten them all to the punch and eventually Dakota had returned his feelings which hade made him feel like the luckiest bear alive. Little Did he know those feelings were not to last for poor Motega for Dakota had hid a secret from him that he had not known of.

A year had went by and Motega fell even more in love with her if that were even possible but then a new bear had started to show her face. Dakota had known her and had asked to go speak with her alone though Motega was confused he did not deny her of this. They had been gone for a few hours when a report had come in stating a hunter was in the valley and Motega grew fearful and began to search for her after hearing a few shots fire off he grew even more afraid and began to search for her only to find her by her dead friend Lena hurt and scorned and Motega did his best to take care of her to show her he would be there for her even helped her berry the body. Motega does his best to keep her happy but the news of her friend's death bugged her greatly and Motega hoped to see her smile again one day if not now then soon.
