The posters at the end of the film are all parodies either from the Warner Bros. Studios, or owned by Turner Entertainment. The studio was afraid that if they used poster parodies of other movies from other studios, they might face a massive lawsuit from all of them

The Mammoth Pictures logo is a parody of MGM's logo

There were a few actresses who auditioned for the role of Sawyer. An indecision led to many scenes being animated to a different actress. Jasmine Guy was chosen when the project was 90% complete. The orignal voice for Sawyer was a much deeper, resulting in a noticeable contrast between Saywer's final speaking voice.

This was Betty Lou Gerson's last film

This move was Gene Kelly's last film project before he passed away in 1996. In one scene, Danny lands on a block with his name on it

Goofs

In the scene where Danny arrives in Hollywood at the begining, the Hollywood sign can be seen. The film is set in 1939 so the sign should say "Hollywoodland" as it did until 1949.

As the day breaks at Grauman's Chinese Theatre, the sun is rising from the left, but that is West.

In the beginning of the movie, when Danny is receiving going away gifts from his friends in Kokomo, he he already seen holding the sheep's wool before he even gets it.

When stage 13 gets flooded, its Friday. Then it goes by one day and they say the premiere of Lil Ark Angel is on Friday, but it must be a Saturday.

When Sawyer is explaining to Danny about how people don't care about the animals, during the vonversation, her shadow changed from curved in one frame. When it cuts back to Danny, its straight.

When Danny receives his "script", it clearly says at the top that he is "Cat #1". However, when it comes time for the animals to sing the noises they make, Sawyer sings before him, making her "Cat #1"
