FAMILY: Parents are Pongo and Perdita: one of the 99 pups

LIKES: Taking risks, adventurous opportunities, spending time with his siblings as he is very protective over them all and trying new things

DISLIKES: Cruella DeVil, Horace and Jasper and other bad people including the dog catcher, too much human contact

PERSONALITY: First impressions he can come across as very angry and distant but after spending time with him, he can open up to be a fun and kind dog who just enjoys having fun 

HISTORY: 

Axel was one of the 99 puppies stolen away from his original family by Cruella DeVil and later rescued by Pongo and Perdita, further being adopted by them.

When in custody of Horace and Jasper, he was one of the braver pups who would stand up for the others and attack the Badduns' if they ever became too violent. As a result, they would beat him back and lock him into isolation for always causing chaos. Conclusively, Axel began to resent human touch, particularly with the constant talk of his fur being made into a coat and the possibility of him being skinned alive.

Even after being rescued and settling into a new home on the Dearly farm with 98 brothers and sisters and a loving human family, Axel remains unenthusiastic when it comes to being handled by humans and Roger, Anita and Nanny have come to know not to give him as much physical affection. He has never shown aggression towards them, however, and knows that he is now surrounded by kind and gentle humans, but cannot shake off his ingrained internal fear after being traumatised by Cruella.
