Minions: The Junior Novel

Publisher: LB-Kids
Pages: 144
Age range: 8-12
The minions have been around since the beginning of time, and their sole purpose is to serve an evil master. However, since the minions are rather clumsy and dim-witted, their masters never lasted for long. To save his tribe from slipping away, Kevin, along with Stuart and Bob, set out to find the biggest, baddest boss of them all to serve!
The Junior Novel isn't a bad addition to the film, though I would suggest watching the film first before you read this book. While it does follow the film's storyline, it does have an alternate ending (which I'm sure has to do with this book being released first) that I feel defeats the point of the film's plot.
This novel also includes eight pages of color stills from film.
