He played with Dixie and Cash, and eventually with Todd and Coper. He loved singing. He was taught it by Dixie, and he loved and practiced it every time.
When he was young, he thought that he would become one of The Singing Strays. But when he grew up, he left them and became a street cat. He sung all alone at the night, and all the nearby cats came to listen to it. One day, Gato met a dog named Bonoko. They were querreling at first, but later they became friends, and eventually Gato was like his assistant, like Zelda and Dixie. He was again back to his family, and became one of The Singing Strays. He further was the best friend of Bonoko.
