Frozen News - 7-31-14

First of all, here is some "real-world" Frozen news for you. The biggest thing is that a preview for Once Upon a Time's Season 4 premiere was shown at Comic-Con this past weekend, which showcased a teaser of Anna and Elsa's involvement in the show. (Kristoff will also appear). Watch the video below.

Also, Frozen currently has a stage show at Walt Disney World (the one in Florida, namely Disney's Hollywood Studios) running from now through September 1. More permanent attractions will likely follow. For a small sample of what the show is like, check the video out below. Anna appears at 4:40, Kristoff at 11:50, and then they all appear at the end.

Speaking of theme park appearances, did you know that lines for meet-and-greet Frozen characters last for up to 6 hours? Sometimes even longer?! That should show you just how influential the film has been, even now when it's the middle of summer. In addition to this, Disney is having a very hard time keeping up with demand for Frozen merchandise - anything from toys and collectibles, to even DVDs and Blu-rays. If you ever see some Frozen merchandise that you want, get it while you have the chance; it won't be there forever.

Now, let's look at some fan content on this wonderful site! First off, we have art done by Pawface: "Let It Go". And an image by saske italian wolf: "At First Sight?" (Click each picture to visit their respective pages)

Finally, we have a fanfic from angryunicorn. (Don't worry, it's short.) Check out "It Doesn't Have to Be a Snowman".

That's all we have this week! Hopefully there will be more Frozen news in the future! (all "real-world" Frozen news in this post courtesy of angryunicorn)

It really is a phenomenon. I admit it may be the best CGI animated film I've seen, though I still would have liked it 2D animated.
