Have we got exciting news for you! On May 15, Sourcecast is going to have an interview with Phil Weinstein, the man who directed the two Balto sequels! Mr. Weinstein has had a lot of other experience in animated films, including The Lion King II, Hop, and many others! He's also worked in television; he won an Emmy Award for his work in Boo to You Too, Winnie the Pooh, and nominated for another one for his work in Hellboy: Sword in Storms.
If you have any questions that you want for Sourcecast to ask Mr. Weinstein, either reply to this news post, or send them to sourcecast@gmail.com.
While we are more than happy to hear your Balto questions, keep in mind that Mr. Weinstein has also worked on many other animated works. For a complete list, visit this website.

Questions concerning Balto IV; he has already stated in another interview for Animation Source that none will be made.
Comments on how lame the sequels were in comparision with the original movies. We're trying to avoid questions like that.

I have two questions. 1. If you could go back and re-do any movie you've made, which one would it be and what would you do differently? 2. What goes into making a family movie such as The Lion King 2 or the Balto sequels that sets them apart from making other movies which are more special-interest directed? |

Do people not read? I looked through the comments to see what questions might be featured and all I see is questions which have already been answered - and a quick search of BS would tell you - or things that are completely pointless like "Did x & y ever have pups?" - Why would he know? Why would he even care? That's a thing for fans to speculate, he didn't write them - he directed them. |
