Have we got exciting news for you! On May 15, Sourcecast is going to have an interview with Phil Weinstein, the man who directed the two Balto sequels! Mr. Weinstein has had a lot of other experience in animated films, including The Lion King II, Hop, and many others! He's also worked in television; he won an Emmy Award for his work in Boo to You Too, Winnie the Pooh, and nominated for another one for his work in Hellboy: Sword in Storms.
If you have any questions that you want for Sourcecast to ask Mr. Weinstein, either reply to this news post, or send them to sourcecast@gmail.com.
While we are more than happy to hear your Balto questions, keep in mind that Mr. Weinstein has also worked on many other animated works. For a complete list, visit this website.
WHAT NOT TO ASK:
Questions concerning Balto IV; he has already stated in another interview for Animation Source that none will be made.
Comments on how lame the sequels were in comparision with the original movies. We're trying to avoid questions like that.

Have you always been interested in a career in animated movies, or did you think you were going to be something else?
Were there any ideas in any of the Balto sequels that never made it into the movie(s)?
What was it like working on Hop? Since it's CGI animation into live action, which is different than most movies you've worked on.

Personally, I think if there were a fourth movie it sould have him involved somehow, either actually appearing or perhaps as the object of a mystery, such as Balto trying to figure out what happened to him.
