Plus Rise of the Guardians isn't Disney anyway; it's DreamWorks. But what Black Rose said. PM the Vote Counters to send your votes in. |

My fan-favorite and best screenplay votes go to Rise of the Guardians,
no doubt. It did NOT get the turn-out it deserved, and it was
absolutely gorgeous: The characters, the story, the animation... my
goodness, the animation. I was awe-struck by it - it is only closely
followed by Wreck-it, mostly due to the animation training the
animators had to go through to make certain characters move correctly.
But the sand in RotG... my gosh, it was like cotton candy. And that
opening scene introduced Jack Frost and his character was immediately
established, and the animation there... My goodness, his /hair/! It
was always, always moving, and his eyes were so reflective. I payed
attention to certain details of certain characters the whole time -
Jack's hair/eyes, North's beard, Bunny's whiskers, ears and fur(His
ears moved in the exact same way real rabbits' do, I own them - some
with relatively similarly proportioned ears), Sandman's... well, sand.
And it was all amazing. I'm just saying, that's my favorite animated film of all time. |
