When was the last time Balto had some site news? I bet everyone was wondering where that went huh. Well, I have took Operation of Balto Fan news, AND Fox and The Hound Fan News. Some of you know me. Names Koak.

| Hey look, this feature is back |
Well, it�s nice to see some fan news here again. Like Skul said, it is
really well written. But I wouldn�t be myself if I wouldn�t give my
opinion to this. So I�m just going to give some ideas on what I would change or make different. First off, when adding a picture it looks better of you make it smaller, like the news just gives a preview there is no need for a full sized image. Another thing, all creations feqatured in this news are in the "Selection of the week" so easy to find for everyone. If i�d be in charge of fan news on here I would try to find some hidden "masterpieces", well made fan creations that are not featured in any must see list. The creations that are already featured on the must sees already get enough attention, why not promoting some fanworks that are in the same quality but not featured anywhere. This way people would notice great works that would remain unseen otherwise. |

I think the only reason the fanfic sotw doesn't update, is we don't
get many fanfics in. Even more rarely is a good enough fanfic sent in
that would fit the qualifications to be featured. But if you ever see/know one, feel free to send us mods a link to it. Same with images/drawings/characters etc. But only mods can actually add them to the must see list. |

mighty, You can help me out with finding some... Interesting stuff to
add, and that sort of stuff. Switching every week or so wouldn't be
that bad. But Since I was once a new editor for Bambi, but I quit due
to not keeping up. I think bambi like died from that. but eh. I keep
with two, See what I can do with Two Sources. |

Koak, I used to be a fan news editor on this site for awhile when I
used to be a mod on here. (I retired being a fan news editor early
2010) So I'm experienced with the fan news.  Also, I wouldn't mind helping you with the fan news. Perhaps we could take turns on that, because it does become a handful after awhile. I was once in that boat, that's why I quit, no one else helped out. |

It is the moderators who update that information, Koak. And not to
imply that you couldn't make a good choice, but they really ought to
be the ones to do so. If we ever get back to mods handling specific
sections of each source, that might even be better (and might,
HOPEFULLY, result in timely updates. Though that wasn't usually the
case when we DID have mods for each section before. Usually). |
