Hub Gets New Sections | Tweet |
For many of you, the Animation Source hub is the "wood between the worlds" of Animation Source. You go there to get to another Source, or on the rarer occasion, to see what the new news is for any Source.
But now I'm hoping people will visit for more reasons. It took virtually all day, but now the Animation Source hub has three new sections: The Animation Source Awards, the Animation Source Choice Awards, and Sourcecast.
The hub has needed new sections for quite some time. While thinking of how to fix this problem, I decided the best way would be to include sections that Animation Souce users would keep coming back to for updates. Rather than focus on animated films or series, the answer was surprisingly simple: content about Animation Source itself. The top three choices that came to mind are the Animation Source Awards (which have been happening since 2007), the upcoming Animation Source Choice Awards, and the ongoing Sourcecast.
The section for the Animation Source Awards covers previous years of the ASA's, including nominees and winners. It also includes the up-to-date rules. The section for the Animation Source Choice Awards includes a brief summary of the awards, an overview of the upcoming 1st Awards show, as well as the rules (when they are revealed) and key dates. Keep checking back on that one in the months ahead to keep up with the current nominees and films eligible for the awards.
The third section is Sourcecast, Animation Source's official podcast. This section has the most content in it, ranging from a brief overview of the project, a list of up-to-date episodes, transcripts, downloads, and even links to offsite content. Keep checking back to this section for updates of Sourcecast in the months ahead!
Official content for these pages was provided by Skulblaka_Shur'tugal. If you have any other suggestions for the hub, PM him!

I'm down with this. Nobody really goes to the hub except to GO to the
other sites. So this is a great way to keep fans on the main AS site.
