BetaWolfI asked this on the forums, and was suggested to ask it here. Here goes.
Balto was released on DVD by itself, and as part of an "Animated Family Favorites" pack. They are both on the same kind of DVD, but the "Animated Family Favorites" version shares its disc space with another film, An American Tail.
Does the video or audio quality suffer as a result of this? Both Balto and An American Tail would have needed to be compressed to fit on the same DVD.

Interesting question. I have never bought both, so I cannot say my
answer is completely reliable. But, I would suggest you buy the one with only Balto, if you really do want the one with American Tail also included into the DVD, then I don't see why not. I am sure the quality will still be fine. Having both movies put into one DVD shouldn't affect, I haven't heard of anything like that happening before. |
