Do you need a special program to make them with no background? Or tool? My computer does not have internet and I can only make images on GIMP. If it will not work on GIMP, I dont know what I'll do.

Please help!

Thank you

If you already have an image with a background, you can either use the wand tool (fuzzy select tool) or manually make the background transparent with the eraser tool. Just create another layer (make sure it's transparent), place that transparent layer under the image layer, and then erase the background on the image. You should be finding a transparent background. (While you're working you'll find grey and white squares, but once you post it on the internet it's transparent.) There are many tutorials on the internet that show you how to do this. Also, here's what the fuzzy selection tool does simply by searching what GIMP calls the magic wand tool:
http://docs.gimp.org/en/gimp-tool-fuzzy-select.html
Have fun with google search, practice, and experiment! You won't be getting transparent work perfectly at first but you'll get there. Also, like Imagine said, it will be /so/ much easier by when you start off your drawing (if you make a drawing like that image) with a transparent canvas already. Not white.

I have GIMP too, but this trick will work on any program. All you have to do is make the backround completely blank, not white, blank. Then save it as a GIF file. It should work.
