Woopy - There are two sides to every story and, yes, maybe JC and Cat (God, if you knew Cat, you'd know she isn't hardly tactful in her responses but I love her for it) can be a it heavy-handed with their comments but I am sure they had no intention of being rude or spiteful. If you had an issue with them, you should've taken it up via PM and not made a general fuss about it via comments on profiles and pictures and such. It's quite annoying and you're not making yourself look very mature.

I agree it is a stupid thing to argue about. However, my stance does not change: sparkledogs are quite frankly annoying to see here and, yes, maybe there is no such thing as a brilliant red husky in Alaska but you don't take a mile when you're given an inch, my friend. I can never understand why sparkledog art can not stay solely on DA - which is a far better place for these imo, despite trolls and such. Take my case for instance, I never drew sparkledogs but I've still deleted all non-Balto images from my gallery so it just contains Balto fanart. I would hardly be a good artist if I can't adapt to the simple rules of a fansite. :/

I've said my bit and nothing shall change my opinion. I have nothing against sparkledogs - I have seen some on DA that are very creative and are fun to draw - but it is a bit of a 'what the bloody hell were you thinking' moment for me when we're talking about them in 1920's Alaska in here.

And, yes, the admin(s) have allowed it here but, not to sound horrid, it was probably only a marketing gimmick and my view is that, in exchange for us (being the members who do not want them here) having to tolerate them being here, we do have some kind of right to be a bit annoyed about it.

I wasn't referring to their comments on sparkle dogs. I was referring to something else they did.

-Cat tried telling one of my friends that they were drawing their dogs the wrong way. (she said it in a rude way, which I didn't take kindly to, art's art. There is no guide line for it, no way is the right way nor wrong.)

-JC was telling another one of my friends that it was wrong of her to draw Balto snarling. (also, he did not state it in a nice way) He also comment rude comments on members characters and profiles.
