This is the official soundtrack of Ice Age 3, composed by John Powell who also composed the music of the second movie. The soundtrack also includes songs used in the movie including "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine" by Kenny Gamble & Leon Huff, and "Alone Again (Naturally)" by Gilbert O'Sullivan.

Queen Latifah (the voice of Ellie) performed a cover of "Walk the Dinosaur", a song by Was (Not Was) for the end credits, although it is not featured the soundtrack. Ironically, Ice Age 3 is the second film staring John Leguizamo (the voice of Sid) to feature that song, the first being the Super Mario Bros. movie.
