Personality: Ace is very jumpy as he did spend a lot of his time as a cub being tortured and forced to train with hyenas. The only lion he ever knew that was related to him was his sister, Adila, and he wanted her to stay close to him since he didn't want to lose her. He is very over-protective of his family, and if they are involved his attention is snapped on. However, he isn't really serious unless someone he cares about is involved, and is usually really relaxed. He usually lightens up his friends with his joking and fooling around, since he hates people looking upset.

History: Ace was born in a pride far away from the pridelands but left at a young age since he hated it there. His sister, Anza, followed him without him asking, which annoyed him since he didn't ask for her to come. Day after day they battled to survive until one day they were cubnapped by hyenas that made them train for no reason. Ace got sick of it. He was training to fight and Anza was trained to hunt. They were seperated from each other and he couldn't stand it. So he pleaded the hyenas one day to let him talk to his sister and he soon told her his plan. The next day he went to meet his sister coming back from a hunt, as if by accident, and when he saw her he nodded fled into the bushes with her. They crept out without being seen at first then two hyena guards attacked them. The two got away but Ace's whiskers had been torn out right from the roots. They never grew back.

Ace and Anza traveled for days then came across a den near a pride. Ace settled down there and one day met a young male cub his age called Jimmy. They soon became best friends and saw each other every day. Ace alled him Jim after a while when they became best buddies, and Ace joined Jimmy's pride, the pridelands, although he didn't live in them. Pretty soon he got to know everyone in the pride, and visited Jim often. But Ace rarely took his friends to his home, since Anzawas always treating him like a baby and he hated it. He didn't know officially if he was older than her, but Ace assumed it. The problem was, Anza seemed to have the same idea. Ace hated it when she babied him when his mates were around. So he often went to the pridelands instead. It probably worried Anza terribly but Ace didn't care. He hated it when she acted like she was his mother. Yet deep down inside he loved her and would hate it if anything happened to her.

As an adult, Ace was heart-broken when Jimmy got a mate. Not because he was jealous, but because Jim would be moving far away to a different pride. And so the two hugged each other and after many tears had fallen Jimmy left, but not after promising that he would visit. Before Jim parted, he and Ace said their motto together. "Ace and Jimmy, brother's forever." Then Jim walked away. Tears falling from his eyes, Ace gave out one last roar of goodbye. Jimmy returned the roar and left. Ace trudged home and lay in his den, feeling empty and ignoring his sister. He had lost his best friend.

Three days after Jimmy left, Ace decided that he needed to eat and went out to hunt. He saw a figure in the grass and began to stalk it, only it turned out to be a lioness. She yelled at him for thinking that she was an animal, and this hurt Ace. He left and lay in his den, but then went out to hunt again a few days later and caught a deer. He got an idea, and found the lioness that he had stalked. He got her out of her den and gave her the deer. He then accepted when she asked him to give her hunting lessons since he loved teaching people new things.
