Personality:
Amir is known to be a typical stuck-up lion. When he was younger, he was given everything he wanted and lucky for him, others did what he told them to do. He was a royal pain, but as he grew up, he had more respect and kindness to give. He shared and loved more, however every once in a while he would still put himself first without thinking. The lion has a passion to sing, and sometimes would sing at the most random times. This time, nobody could blame him and many had to admit that he had a wonderful singing voice.
Amir can be a bit rude sometimes and doesn't like to be pushed around at all. Also, with the slightest hints of a threat, he won't be a very pretty sight and will pull the "Do you know who I am?" card, since he's still used to being pampered and treated well back then. Other than that, if you're close to him, you will see that he actually does have a nice character, that is sadly only directed towards the ones he likes to keep close to him. Many have asked how he could've been a good King. The thing is, he was well treated and loved, which made him show only his good side at all times. Too bad that's changed now.

History:
Amir was born to a powerful King and Queen in a large pride that was located in the east. He was the second-born of the two leaders, the first one being his older brother, Absko. They were welcomed to a healthy environment with plenty of food and water, and let's not forget about the big bunch of lionesses in the pride to protect them as well. Since Amir was the younger cub, he wasn't first in line to become the next King. His brother was. Unfortunately, the pride's mandrill sensed something bad within Absko, and foretold a dark future ahead of him and of the pride if he continued his path towards being the next King. The concerned parents then decided to unhappily break their own rules and nominate the younger one, Amir, to become the next leader of the Eastern Pride.
 

Up until this age, the young Prince attended many lessons his aging father was giving him. His father saw a lot of potential in him, and his mother couldn't have been prouder. Absko however, wasn't very happy for Amir and his silly "princely" achievements. He was jealous that his younger brother was going to be the next ruler, and stood in his original place. The younger Prince decided to let it slide and do his duties. Amir helped patrol the borders and keeping the pride safe alongside his mighty father. Every now and again, their pride would visit the neighboring kingdom in which Chumvi and his friends were in. Since they were cousins, the prides were practically related to each other. Amir grew quite close to the lovely lioness Kula, however nothing serious ever happened between them.

Amir was ready for his rulership, and was allowed to take over Bujune, his father and the previous King's place. The father told him that even though he may not be the ruler anymore, he would still support and help him during his reign. Amir was happy and ruled the kingdom well, until Absko destroyed the peace. Without challenging his brother, he uncontrollably attacked him. Being the smaller lion, Amir couldn't quite get Absko off him. Bujune interrupted the fight and was able to thrust the "former ruler" off their King. Unwillingly, he banished his son who was full of hatred and pride, away from their lands.
Amir wasn't the kind to feel sympathy, but since his brother was gone forever, he felt sorrow. He didn't want things to end like this, so he decided to leave their kingdom because he felt too much guilt about Absko's banishment, even though it wasn't his fault at all.
Bujune was extremely disappointed - all the time spent teaching his heir to become a King went to waste, however it was his son's decision and regretfully allowed him to leave. Amir roamed to the borders and stopped to catch a last glimpse of the pride's home. Once a King, now a rogue, he left to begin another path and maybe run into the lion he once called his brother...

TLK Relation: Is Chumvi's cousin. Their prides would visit each other to discuss about things and bring along their cubs to play together.
