Personality: Asani may look like a harmless guy, but don't let his looks fool you, he is exactly as his name stands for: a rebellious and firely soul who won't give up even in the toughest situation. He is mean to others, and may snap easily even if no one's done anything to him, and thus, some of the pride members are slightly afraid of him, because he can get quite agressive when he's really angry. Asani has a special skill of manipulating others, and he could easily turn other pride members against each other if he wanted to. He is an excellent fighter and loves challenges, but if he loses, he raises a hell and fights over and over again untill he wins.

History: Asani was born to king Mohatu and queen Imani, with one older twin brother, Ahadi. As a young cub he loved getting attention from his parents, especially from his father, and he followed him everywhere he went, but if Mohatu told him he couldn't come, Asani was always upset and hurt, as he wanted to be with his father every second. Asani loved to compete with his brother Ahadi, and the two would always compete about who would make a better king. Both of them tried ever so hard to prove themselves to Mohatu, but Asani, whose biggest dream was to rule the Pride lands, tried even harder to impress his father by his hunting and fighting skills. Still, Mohatu saw Ahadi as a much more noteworthy canditate, and began to focus his attention on him more. This angered young Asani, and he would now have to work even harder make his father notice him. But no matter what he did, Mohatu wouldn't notice, and only focused on Ahadi's training. And then came the day that changed Asani forever. Mohatu announced that the next ruler of the Pride lands would be Ahadi. Asani's heart was broken, he was outraged and told his father he was making a huge mistake. He ran away from Pride rock, blinded with rage, and Ahadi followed after him, trying to talk sense into his brother's head. But then, Asani's head just snapped, he lost all the control, and attacked his older brother, blinded with rage. The two fought terribly, and Asani nearly killed Ahadi, but then Mohatau lunged at him stopping the fight, and ruthlessly attacked his own son with no remorse. Ahadi watched in horror as his younger brother finally fell to the ground, with open wounds all over him, coughing and gasping for air. Asani gazed upon his father, who stood in front of him, and then at his brother, took one last breath, and whispered quietly: "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..." then, he lowered his head to hte ground, closed his eyes and never woke up again.
