Short description: A small, red-brown lion cub with a pale red eyes.

Appearance: Asim has a slim figure accompanied by a pale, red-brown pelt with a lighter underbelly.  He has large , colored paws with fluffy elbows. Similar to his father Asim has a sharp chin and dark fur around his eyes however he carries a pridelander nose and the common red eye color. He has a small black tuft of fur on his head and a matching tail tip. 

Personality: Asim is often worried about the simple things, afraid to let his parents down and embarrass himself in front of other lions. Due to his royal bloodline Asim always feels the pressure of living up to his parents standards to later take over the throne which causes anxiety in the young cub. Unlike his fellow cubs he seems to hesitate before every action, having to think through his every move however this often causes him to lose focus and eventually perform poorly in training compared to his fellow cubs. He holds loyalty close to his heart and feels a deep betrayal when someone breaks his trust in them. Asim prefers to swallow any pain inflicted by other cubs, whether it be verbally or physically, instead of fighting back, seeing that as disgrace and hostility in a lion.

Cub: Born into the royal bloodline Asim always had the pressure of carrying the reputation of the royal family on his shoulders which not only terrified the young cub but also caused anxiety when he was around other lions. Due to him being 'higher' than normal pride cubs  he would often get picked on for receiving special treatment such as leaving the cave for the first time earlier than other cubs. Although he would be defended by his pride-mates this only made him feel more embarrassed and eventually he decided to keep any problems he had with other cubs as a secret. During cubhood Asim had several talks with his parents about him standing up to the other cubs as he would later lead them however he would always shrug that off, thinking that he would never reach those heights that his parents were looking for. Often his doubt would cause him to think that maybe he should have died on the first night after their birth instead of his sister, remembering how the elders described her to be "a cub with a strength of a lion".  When training in hunting and battle Asim would always hesitate before acting which often resulted him in either loosing his prey or loosing the practice battle to another cub. This caused worry in the clan as his performance was much worse than other cubs however his parents never listened to their words and encouraged the cub to keep practicing, hoping that his true potential will break through sooner or later. During this time of his life Asim found peace in spending time in silence on his own, letting him think over everything he does and let himself relax away from the responsibilities of being a royal blood cub in the pride.
