Personality: Asante is very adventurous. He loves to play is always active. He can be a bit rough when playing but is also very caring towards his family. He tries to act brave around others, especially girls. Asante is sweet but can be a flirt sometimes when trying to impress girls.

History: Asante is the son of Tojo and Kiara. He was born after his cousin, Hala. Kopa and Kiara decided to raise their cubs together. From the start, Asante and Hala were best friends. Even as young infants, who could not even walk yet, they were together.

As time went on, Asante grew into a strong brave cub. He always wanted to impress and often flirted with the girls. Still, he was always found by Hala’s side. They would play together and they even told each other everything. Asante knew Hala even better than she knew herself. They were very close and good friends. Hala and Asante loved to go off and explore. The two often got into trouble for their crazy habits and enjoyed getting into trouble. Both were very spoiled so they never got a real punishment, however. They always had someone to do everything for them.

The one day, Asante and Hala were out playing by the river, not at all noticing the current was so strong. Asante and Hala play wrestled together and found themselves on the edge of the river. One false move and they fell into the chilly water. They struggled to escape but it was no use. They called for help, but they were all alone. Hala was the one who spotted the waterfall towards the end of the river. Together, the cubs had to think fast. When a branch was nearby, Asante pushed Hala forward and she was able to grab it. Hala, then, held onto Asante and pulled him up on land. The two suddenly heard a horrible screech. They had crossed the borders of the Pride Lands and were in the unknown. Completely frightened, the cubs took off but in the wrong direction. They ran for their lives until Asante realized he had no clue where they were.

The two cubs wandered around for what seems like forever. It got dark and the decided to finally act like adults. They were very smart, although slightly lazy. They managed to create a shelter but were tired afterwards. Hala and Asante stilled stayed together. Asante and Hala were lost and traveling in the wrong direction. Kiara and Kopa were extremely worried and sent out search parties.

They spent days out there, but quickly learned all the tricks to surviving. They found a nice place to stay with no one else around and found food for themselves. The two cubs were no longer spoiled. They learned to take care of themselves. It had been several weeks until they were finally found and returned home.

Hala and Asante grew up and remained best friends. They were no longer spoiled brats and understood hardship, and responsibility. The two cubs grew up that day, understanding a lot more. The experience made them smarter and stronger.
