History:

Cub-Preteen: Not much is known about Aya at this stage of life except that her mother was a former Outlander rogue. Though it is clear that she got her markings, nose shape, and eye coloring from her sire. What is known is that her mother left the Outland's before she gave birth to Aya, she did not want Aya to grow up under Zira's blood-thirsty power.

Teen: Her current stage of life. Mother and daughter remained Outlander rogue's until her mother grew very sick. It is notable that Aya's mother was one of the older Outlander lioness. When her mother died, Aya never felt so lost in her entire life. She knew she couldn't give up on life, though. Aya went in search of another pride, a more friendly one.

Aya first discovered the Regal Pride with another lion, a male teen named Shahidi. She met Shahidi when he almost got himself killed while hunting. After rescuing him, Shahidi introduced himself and said he too was looking for a new pride, that the Prideland's were good but not to his standards. Aya and Shahidi searched together until they came upon a pride, a pride where they would stay for life; The Regal Pride.
