Cahwe’s Markings: Dark brown mane with light brown fur and black underbelly. Eyes are green.

Isanda Markings: Light brown fur with cream color underbelly. Eye are Blue.

Personality: He is kind but is haunted by the past; he never tends to stay with one pride for very long but has made many friends and values their company. Prefers to wander the Savanna and explore the many caves and rocky outcroppings.

                Azube was born to Isanda and Cahwe on the African Savanna. His parents met when Isanda fell into a river after attempting to grab a fish out of the river. Isanda nearly lost her life if it wasn’t for Cahwe pulling her to shore. After that Isanda and Cahwe were inseparable, they would spend every minute together before Isanda told her mate that she was pregnant. Azube was born in the Pridelands, he spent little time with his parents and barely remembers them because two years after he was born they were killed by human poachers. Azube spent his days as a cub trying to survive as best as he could, running from hyena’s who tried on numerous occasions to make a meal out of him, avoiding the rivers that were infested with crocodiles, scavenging what he could from other lion kills and catching small rodents when he was lucky. Eventually his uncle Unudi found him near death and starving under a large tree. Unudi became a second father figure to Azube teaching him how to survive in the harsh wilds of Africa. Unudi eventually was killed in a fight with hyenas over a kill he had made, Azube stayed at his surrogate father’s side long after his body grew cold. Azube was left alone for a second time wandering the Savanna haunted by his past, other lion prides tried their best to integrate Azube but he was always a loner and he never remained long with one group. He made many friends within the groups he stayed with and eventually decided his days of wandering were over joining Simba’s pride at Pride Rock.
